The Abyssinian has a colorful coat marked with ticking. It is of medium size and regal looking. It resembles a wild cat. A very curious cat of good temperament, loyal and affectionate. The Abyssinian makes a wonderful companion cat. Abyssinian's are one of the world's oldest known breeds of cats. Although it looks like a jungle cat, they have also retained the look of the Egyptian cats we see in sculptures and paintings.
