Amazon Parrot Bird Breed |
The Amazons are among the tamest and most teachable of all the parrots. Sometimes called the Surinam Amazon, the Yellow-fronted Amazon, pictured above, is found all over areas of South America and Trinidad. It is a popular bird all over the world. Like all of the Amazons, this fourteen and a half inch bird is a sociable bird that lives in the jungle. It too raids plantations. Food: Like the African Grey, this parrot eats corn, nuts, seeds, grain, young plant-shoots and a lot of fruit.
