Subject: Colombian sharks
Hello, can please you send me any information that you have on colombian sharks thank you,
DaGR8one21@aol.com
DaGR8one, Latin name: Arius Seemani. This fish grows quite large, but is well adapted to a large-fish community tank. It likes salt in the water (brackish). I would say about 1 teaspoon/gallon as a start. It enjoys a somewhat alkaline ph around 7.5. They like the water a bit warmer than most at around 27 degrees Celsius. The main thing here is dont try to put this fish in a small tank. It will outgrow the tank quickly. These fish also do like to be with companions of their own kind, say perhaps three to a tank. Lastly, dont try to create a community with small fishes, as they may be a meal. I hope this helps. Aquariaman |
