There are two types of the Bull Terrier, white and colored. This breed dates back to 1835. The Bull Terrier is believed to be a cross of the Bulldog and English White Terrier, which is now extinct.

The Bull Terrier is strong, active, smart, with a good disposition and needs strict training. He has gotten a bad rap due to those that train the dog to be mean. This dog is exceedingly friendly and lives for attention. Has a high indoor energy level. Should be exercised once a day for 60 minutes at least. Said not to be good with children.

Height - 19 to 22 inches. Weight - 45 to 70 pounds.

Coat types - short, flat, rough white, sheds very little.

Costs - average $25.00 a month.
