This bird hails from Australia and on the continent considered to be a to be a crop pest due to their large numbers that are invading the farm lands. Known as the Roseate or Galah this bird is easy to care for but it's rare to find one due to the Australian governments policies regarding native animals. It's hardy, very noisy, up to 14 inches in length, and does well alone or in a pair. Best to make sure the aviary is of strudy wire as this bird is destructive. The diet consists of food pellets, vegetables, seeds, and nuts.
