Named for the French province in which it originated, the Brittany is the only pointing spaniel officially recognized by the American Kennel Club. A friendly disposition, this dog is usually raised for hunting. Easy to train, he is rugged, agile and very faithful. A medium sized dog , height 17 1/2 to 20 1/2 inches.
