Native to Central Africa: Congo Democratic Republic.

This African Tetra , also called the Congo tetra, requires water that has soft acidic conditions.

Feeds on worms, small insects, crustaceans and plant matter.

Water, ; pH range: 6.0 - 8.0; dH range: 5.0 - 19.0.
