Pimelodella gracilis

Native to Orinoco, Amazon and La Plata basins.

Known as the Graceful pimelodella, there are many very similar species of Pimelodella, and it is impossible to be certain of identification without alcohol specimens and having accurate locality data.

Mainly very active at dusk. Feeds on worms and insects . The sexes appear to be exactly alike. Can reach 6 inches long.
