Rivulus Cylindraceus |

Native to Central America: Cuba. Known as the Green Rivulus or Cuban Rivulus. One of the most satisfactory of the Rivulus. It is hardy, active, peaceful and prolific. Although not one of the biggest of this group, it is one of the "jumpingest," easily clearing a 10" barrier. Always replace the tank cover where these fish are kept. A thickly planted tank seems to curb the jumping urge. Female has small ovipositor at breeding time, and drops large eggs near the surface. Thick plants like Myriophyllum catch many of them before the breeders can gobble them up. Not a seasonal killifish. Is easy to maintain in the aquarium. Length, 2 inches. Water, pH range: 7.0 - 7.0; dH range: 7.0 - 9.0, temperature 70-75 degrees. More Fish and Aquaria Information Here
