Ways To Include Your Pet In Your Holiday Fun
– by Michelle Dalida
- Make a stocking
for them! Pets are curious little things. They’ll love to
rummage through a long stocking filled with their favorite
toys or snacks.
- Include them in
the family photo, or their name on the Christmas cards.
Idea: dip their paw into (washable) ink,
and stamp the card with it as their signature. Fellow pet lovers
will be jealous that they didn’t think of it first!
- Ringing in the New
Year usually means wearing some new clothes too. Let your
pet be a part of the festivities in a new sweater or
reindeer antlers.
- Make your pet be a
part of opening gifts. It’s up to you whether your pet can
handle the paper and ribbon without wanting to eat it. If
so, let them be with the family while opening presents. As
always, they’re just be happy to be with you!
- While you’re
glazing that Christmas ham you might only make once a year,
make something special for your pet too.
