CONFISCATED BIRDS NEED HOMES OR WILL BE EUTHANIZED
Mickaboo Cockatiel Rescue was recently notified by a local animal care and
control facility that animal control is seeking homes for 60 aviary cockatiels
recently surrendered/confiscated. Animal care and control will euthanize
any unplaced birds on December 2nd. Mickaboo does not have the resources
to take in 60 birds at this time. If you live in the Northern CA area (or
can get there) and have the means to take in a pair or a dozen (!) please

Mickaboo's directors, are doing everything they can to try to find homes
for these birds. Our hope is that wherever these birds go, they go forever.
