Miniature Pinscher Breed Of Dog
|
|
The Miniature Pinscher breed has been around for many centuries. This dog breed originated in Germany, but has also been bred in the Scandinavian countries for a long time. The Pinscher-Schnauzer Klub, gave the breed its initial standard. The breed continued to become more popular until World War I and then picked up again after 1919 when they began to appear in the United States. The Miniature Pinscher is somewhat like the Doberman, but on a smaller scale. It has a nature and way about it that reminds you of a much larger dog. He is also a valuable watchdog. A devoted companion, he has great fondness for home. He is well groomed, active, alert and high spirited. Height- 11 inches to 11 1/2 inches at the withers. Weight- 8 to 11 pounds. Coat- short, sheds a little, short, black with tan, brown, red, tan markings. Costs- averages $15.00 a month. Miniature Pinscher Club of America, Inc. (M) Corres.
