Where do you find Pet Insurance?

First, you might check with your veterinarian because they are familiar with your petís health and understand pet health care terms. They can also let you know which plans they accept, and provide a list of respectable pet insurance plans. 

Also, check with breeders and groomers. Check with friends and colleagues who own pet insurance. Ask them for their honest opinion of their pet insurance provider. Finally, look on the internet for information on pet insurance websites, such as this one and also check articles written by non-insurance company sources.

What is typically covered in pet insurance plans?

Typical pet insurance coverage may include:
