This breed has only existed since the middle of the 20th century. Crossing a Appaloosa and a Shetland pony developed it. The founding sire, was the offspring of a Shetland stallion and a Appaloosa mare, named Black Hand. Height: up to 14 hands. Color: Normal Appaloosa markings. Personality: Kind natured and easy to handle. Ideal for children because of it's small size.
