The Pug, one of the oldest breeds, originated sometime before 400 B.C. He has always been domesticated and has endeared himself to man.

It is still a mystery as to how the Pug came into existence but agreed that he is of Asian origin with some basic similarities to the Pekingese.

A small dog, he feels comfortable in the country or in an apartment. He is devoted, loves children, and makes a good companion. He loves to please
and adapts easily to any situation.

Height - 10 to 11 inches. Weight - 13 to 18 pounds.

Coat types - short, black, silver gray, tan, sheds a little.

Costs - averages $15.00 a month.
