GIANT ANGORA RABBIT BREED |
|||||||||||||||
This lovely creature is the largest of the Angora breeds. It can weigh upwards of 12 1/2 pounds (or even more) at maturity. They are magnificent wool producers which is their primary use. The wool length can reach 10 inches if allowed. These rabbits are recognized as white only. Breeders are currently working to have colors recognized by the ARBA. The Giant angora is a quiet creature who can be placid and slow moving. They make good pets because of their personality. However, they do require grooming when in full coat. Normally they are cut down on a regular basis which makes grooming an almost non-issue.
