Recognizing a Reputable Breeder |
A responsible breeder generally asks many of
the following questions:
Have you ever had a pet before? What kind? How
long?
Do you have children? How many? What ages?
Do you live in a house or an apartment?
Do you have a fenced yard?
Do you have other pets?
What happened to your last pet?
Do you plan to do obedience training with your new
dog?
How do you feel about crate training?
Remember, a puppy is for life. These questions
are designed to assist the breeder in helping you make the best choice of
a pet for you and your family.
