Shetland ponies are thought to have inhabited the islands just north of Scotland for thousands of years. Although they are small, they are very strong in relation to their size. Height: Shetlands are measured in centimeters/inches in Britain. As 4 year olds they can be up to 102cm(42"). Color: Any coloring except spotted Personality: Generally intelligent and gentle.
