The Schipperke dog finds it's origins in Belgium and from the black sheepdog called the " Leauvenaar". It's coat needs very little attention and has a under coat for cold climates. A powerful dog and it will defend property and family. This dog is active, agile, has boundless energy, and great with children. Height - 10 to 13 inches. Weight - 12 to 18 pounds.
