Balkan Racer
(Coluber Gemonensis)
Balkan Racer Snake
Known to reach lengths of more than 3 feet. Its back is gray-brown with dark
crossbars and white dots, with markings on the lower body fading into indistinct
dark bands.
This snake is known for its nasty , aggressive temper and
bites any chance it's given. Not suited for terrarium life due to its need
to escape and many times injures trying to do so.
Feeds on moths, butterflies, mice and small birds.
Brief hibernation is suggested.
