As its name suggests this terrier finds its origins in Tibet where for more than 2,000 years Buddhist monks kept it. It is said that it isn't an actual terrier but rather comes from the Lhasa Apso. This curious fellow does well in the city, suburbia, or the country and loves kids from 8 years up; and get along with most other animals. They're easy going and love to play. This breed is of exceptional health, a great companion, happy, smart, and affectionate. Grooming- due to its long, fine coat it needs daily brushing. Coat type- double coat that can be both straight and wavy. Color- solid color or solid and white. Weight- up to 30 pounds. Height- up to 20 inches. Life span- up to 15 years old.
