Welsh Terrier Dog Breed

Welsh Terriers

A very old breed from Wales, more commonly known in the old times as the Old English Terrier or Black-and Tan Wire Haired Terrier. Even to this day the color of the Welsh Terrier is as it was over one hundred years ago.

Not shy or timid, even tempered dog, happy and of a volatile nature. He is game and fearless, but never vicious or overly pugnacious. He stands about 15 inches and weighs in at 20 pounds. A good companion that loves the outdoors and the company of children.

Coat Type - wire-textured and colored black and tan.
